Week 23 Colusa CA

Hey mom!!

Sounds like a nice week!! Family and relaxing. Nothing better!

Well it is December! And winter has hit here... it is, like actually cold. We go out knocking on doors and it is 45 degrees with rain. So yes, it does get cold in California! But I keep tricking my mind. I think, "One I only have so long before iIgo to Pennsylvania and it'll be warm!" but that is false... it is colder there... and even colder in Utah... rip. I'll be a marshmallow.

But the miracles continued this week!! We got 2 more people on date! First was Laura! This is Clemente's mom, and I LOVE this family so much. So I am so happy she accepted a date! She is nervous, but it will all be good! It'll be so good for her and her family.

The other person on date is Memo. He has just surprised us so much... we gave him a Book of Mormon back in the summer, and he came to church then. But recently we started actually teaching him, and he read the Book of Mormon and knew it was true! So he wants to follow Jesus Christ and be baptized! I honestly didn't know if he was super interested! But he accepted a date and came to church and I am super excited!

Thanksgiving was also a fun time. We did some service with a single lady in the branch, and then had dinner with her as well. It was actually a really good dinner!! And a fun time with Sheryl! I also got to talk to you guys that day, and it was super fun! I love you soooo much and I am super excited to see you all soon!

One happy/sad thing is that this week someone said they found their church was where they wanted to stay, so it was sad. But then she gave us tamales, which were super good. So it was a win-lose situation.

I had a fun week though! I cannot believe that I only have one week left... that's crazy! I have looked forward to going on a mission for literally my whole life. And now the fact that it is almost over is crazy. Kinda hard to believe...

I hope you have a great week and that you jam out to Christmas music! Love you! See you next week!
