Week 28 Chico/Orland CA

Hey Mom!!

Well this week was not super exciting. I'm tying to think back and I can't really remember too much... But I will try to think hard.

The big focus this week has been zone conference for this coming week. This time, the zone leaders and the sister training leaders (me) are leading the conference. So we have 5 hours to give training and to lead it all. It was kinda crazy when we first heard that, but now that we have it more planned out I feel a lot better about that and I am actually pretty excited! It just has been a lot of calls with the zone leaders and the other sister training leader. But it will be good. We honestly might even have too much material that we want to talk about... I'll let you know how that goes next week though.

This week we also had an exchange! So I was an English sister missionary for the day with Sister Gurney, our neighbor. It was a fun time! It was a LOT of work though. We we out finding all day long. So we waked and went all around Orland talking with literally everyone. I was kinda nervous for this exchange, because the sisters have been feeling a little discouraged and I felt they needed to see some hope. So luckily, we were able to find someone! It was an answer to my pray, because that companionship could see that hard work pays off! Sometimes it takes a lot, but it is worth it in the end. But hey, we met some interesting people! We do what is called an "ITL count" which is basically we count how many different people we Invited To Learn(ITL). I think it's kinda funny though, because it is basically how many strangers we talked to that day. and it was 44 that day. Lots of people. But I love it!!

We got to do quite a bit of service on Saturday also which was fun! and very necessary. Everyone is moving... and so the missionaries are there to help with the move!! It was good. But it's been a good week and I am excited to see what next week brings! Besides just the heat hopefully... My watch tan is coming back, so that's pretty exciting. I'll see if I can get a shoe tan. I bet it's coming. California has to change this white girl.

Sorry this is short... But I love and miss you!!!
