Hey mom!
Fun week! I bet everyone likes being out! And it was fun to talk with you all yesterday! Sorry this is so late... and I will keep an eye out for your letter!
I don't have a ton of time to write this. We just had a zone preparation day and played volleyball and cards and had pizza and it was great! But now i just don't have a ton of time... haha! So sorry!! This might be a bit scattered.
K, well to start off it has been hot... like sweat stains on my back hot after just standing outside... and people keep saying it's gonna get worse. so rip that... but it's fun! I like it.
This big thing this week though was zone conference! It was so awesome! As you know, I was preparing for this with the other leaders in the zone and it went so well!! We actually had to cut out some stuff. But it was so awesome. At the end all the leaders were being testimony and president ward was there and man the spirit was so strong!! I just wanted to give everyone a hug! But we don't hug elders, so I just gave Sister Manning a hug. But it was so awesome! We had some musical numbers, and the spirit was just so strong. It was a testimony to me that I am where I should be and that I love this! I love being a missionary!! I was so happy then, and still am and wow I am one lucky girl! But also, funny story about zone conference... so it was kinda far away so we had to drive a bit. so we woke up early and rushed out the door and were a little late. But we were like 10 minutes down the road and i was like "Oh my gosh I forgot!" and Hermana Hayes was like "what?" and then I saw like "my bra..." so in the hustle of the morning, I forgot to put that on... whoops... Luckily I am not too gifted in that area, so you could hardly tell. I just looked like a little boy. But what made it funny was I had to stand in front of people all day cause I was in charge... whoops. I guess you live and you learn, right?
A miracle this week! We found someone named Alejandro the other week, so we tried to set up an appointment with him on the phone. We called and we went and he was there, and he got out of the car, and we were like "Who is this guy?" we did not recognize him... but we had a lesson anyways and it was so awesome!! He was so interested and excited to learn! He even said he would go to church! He didn't end up going... but it was so cool!! And we looked up who he really was after in area book, and the phone number was linked with another Alejandro who lives in Chico, 45 minutes from where we met. So this guy drove 45 minutes to have a lesson with us! It was so cool. A real miracle. We keep finding lots of really cool people! We just need to help them get to church now, because that is really where they will feel the spirit!
Other adventures... Hermana Hayes got a nose bleed while we were out tracting! We had to stop at a members to help us out... don't worry, I didn't punch her. but it was fun!! Then we got to do some service for that member as well.
We also had papusa with a family! I hadn't had papusa in such a long time... but they were so good! I love the Sanchez family!
And lastly, this is the last week of the transfer, so next week I find out if I am finally leaving Chico or not. I think I will cause I have been here for a while... but I just love all the people here so much, I feel like I would be leaving home again. So I guess we'll find out for next week. :/
But it was a good week! With a good one to come! I hope your week is just as great :)
Love and miss you!
