Week 19 Colusa CA

Hey mom!!

That is weird that you are setting up the release... I'm assuming it'll be the next day, cause I get in pretty late... but I started Myplan this week which is a thing to help returned missionaries plan for the future. Like setting goals for spiritual things, education, self reliance, and dating (haha yay...) but I started that and this week what I had to do what read my patriarchal blessings and write down the phrases or things that describe me. It was really cool to do, because its basically seeing me how God sees me. So I want to invite you to do it too. I really enjoyed it :)

This was a fun week! First off, we ran out of miles on our car for the month, so we walked around for 3 days... one day we walked 5 miles... and I was not wear my good shoes... so my feet were very sore, but it was fun! And we got to talk with everyone and find some cool people! So that is always a good time. Luckily it wasn't too chilly. Well, at least during the day. I broke out the tights this week. and our heating is currently not working... so we will be getting that fixed soon or I will be wearing 5 pairs of socks.

Also this week though was Halloween!! We had to be in our houses by 5, which was super early... but we had a good time! We made some pizza, cookies, and played cards! It was weird to have a whole extra 4 hours at the end of the night. But it was fun! no trick or treaters though. Which was good cause we didn't have any candy to give them, haha!

But our real Halloween celebration was the night before! The branch had their Halloween party! We had a dinner first, then some carnival games for the kids, and then trunk or treating! It was super fun to see everyone dress up! That's a highlight of Halloween! We were the three blind mice, and it was pretty great. We got lots of compliments! But the fun part of the night was that Clemente's family came! His mom, Laura is someone we are teaching and they brought their whole family! It was awesome! it was the first time Jose had come to a church event, so we were super happy to see them! They are just good people. The whole branch is awesome! But that was a super fun night.

And lastly, we had the time change! Which means an extra hour to sleep! But my body was too used to 6:30... so I haven't really gotten my extra hour of sleep yet. But hey I'm adjusting!

It was a good week though. The trio is still working gout some of our teaching kinks, but we are getting there! More good things to come!
