Week 4 Colusa CA

I love to hear from you!!

Ok I think I say this most every week, but I barely remember what happened last week... so I guess here are some highlights.

Well I LOVE our English class. The people there are all so sweet and it's so fun! Honestly they know a bit of English already, but it's just so fun to share what we know. teaching is just fun! Especially when you love the people you teach! We have been able to find some people through that class which has been awesome! All around a good time though!

Along with that there have been a lot of little miracles with finding people and with getting in contact with people. People are so kind. even complete strangers can be so awesome!! Also little miracles that we are still alive... we have been dead tired this past week. That's what we get for working out in the morning and then biking all around. It takes a lot out of a girl!

But the people we are working with are still doing good. The Juarez family is still as cute as ever. They love coming to church. We are working with the to start reading the scriptures and praying together. And with Jared we have been working with him to start reading the Book of Mormon. And with a few other people we are working with that. The Book of Mormon is a really good book, and I just feel good when I read it. So now we are working with getting others to see that as well. People are progressing, but it's just slow... we really want to get someone with a baptismal date so that they can eventually be baptized. I strongly believe that once we have one baptism, many are to follow. we just have to find and work for that one! we'll keep working here...

But one funny story. So like I said we work out hard core in the morning. One morning we were doing a leg workout, which included jumping jacks (gotta get them calves tho). So I was doing them, and then I felt weird and all the sudden I ran to the bathroom. haha I had peed my pants a little. But I caught it. It was funny though. But I have been able to control my bladder ever since, so don't worry!

But it was a good week! I think I'm turning in to a Cali girl, cause when it's 90 out it honestly doesn't even feel too bad. Like it's hot, but doable. So that's good I guess! I'm getting a pretty solid tan too, but just on my arms. Everything else is white, haha! I guess that's what a bike will do!
