Week 3 Colusa CA

Hey Mom!!

I'm getting to writing the essay... promise...

That's cool about the missionary there for 3 months though! I like they have that option. I have met a few of those missionaries here and it is fun for them :)

Ok, well to sum up this week in one word:

BIKES!!!!

Hermana Andrew and I have been biking our little hearts out. We have the bikes to help us save miles on our car (we are only given a certain amount per month) and it has been fun! I have gotten to know the town better! And we get to talk to so many more people! But it is has been very fun biking around! It makes me feel super productive all the time as well. but the only downside is that we are in California.... which means it is SUPER hot. we are basically in a constant state of sweat. my hair always looks great from the cute helmets. and sometimes I get some lovely sweat marks on my clothes... but for the most part it's pretty good! Honestly it is a lot of fun.

The other big thing this week was that we went to Yuba City for a baptism! We road tripped up with the Juarez family so that the kids could see what a baptism was and how it worked. It was a good experience for them and a great opportunity to feel the spirit. It was also a fun car ride up with Cristina and he kids :) Let's just say that I wish I had my Bike helmet when I was driving with her, haha! But we made it there in one piece and it was a fun night and a spiritual night!

A miracle this week was probably that we got in contact with Dianna! She was someone we met my first day in Colusa. we lost her number, but then got it a week later and have not been able to meet up with her. But finally, yesterday we got in contact with her! She is so sweet and really has some soul searching questions! It is cool to see that people are ready and willing to accept this message and learn more!

But it has been a good week here in Colusa. Lots of quesadillas. Lots of biking. Lots of sleeping. I smashed a cupcake in Hermana Andrew's face (it was a lot of fun).
