Week 30 Chico/Orland CA

Hey Mom!!

wow lots of fun stuff!! sounds like a good schedule! Also, on Friday we came home to a stinky watermelon too!! it was way gross... the watermelon was leaking all over the counter... not fun...

Well the big news for this week is that I am getting transferred. I'm going to Colusa with Hermana Andrew tomorrow. I am both excited and sad. I am excited cause Hermana Andrew is awesome and we are gonna have so much fun together, and she plays basketball (HYYYYYPE). I have also heard great things about Colusa! It is also a super small town though, so we will see :)

But because I am leaving, yesterday and today we have been saying goodbye to all the people. It is so sad to say goodbye... but that's how you can know that it was good and that I had good people! But we have been super busy with that. I love all the people here so much, I can't even really explain it. But really it kinda feels like I am leaving home again. It's what happens after I have been here for so long... But really there are so many great people here and I am sad. But I know there are lots of great people in Colusa!

But anyway, that is the big thing of the week. I kinda knew I was gonna leave, so we basically did everything I ever wanted to do that I did not get to do. First off, FOOD!! We ate a LOT of food! Especially in Chico. there are so many good places to eat, and we had to get to them all! So we had Hula's (Chinese BBQ), and Panera, and la Flor (ice cream). we also made some good food like french toast, peanut butter and banana sandwiches, enchiladas, and tacos. But luckily all my skirts still fit!! But along with the food, Hermana Hayes and I had some good times. lots of laughs and lots of fun stuff going on. For example, we made magnets of our faces and gave them to a bunch of people before I left. They all got a kick out of it. It was super fun! I love Hermana Hayes and I'm gonna miss her! But I also know that I will see her around again.

But it was a good week. We had some good lessons and found some cool people. It is exciting to see that people are reading the Book of Mormon! It is a book that I really love, and so to see others read it makes me super happy :)
