Hey Mom!!
This week has literally felt so long and yet I feel like it was just Monday. Weird.
But this week, to start out, we had an exchange! Hermana Wiser came with me to Chico! We had a good time with our friends down in Willows! We got to do some service with someone named Bo. So we were basically taping and painting. He is flipping the house to rent it out to people. It's super nice! But I basically did squats for a straight hour cause I was on the ladder and Hermana Wiser was handing me tape. But hey, can't skip leg day, right? We also got to meet some cool people and some interesting people... but hey it was fun! We ended the night with a ward activity to learn how to make tortillas!! So I am basically a pro now. Get ready to eat all the tortillas when I get back!
This week was also MLC! So we got to meet up with the other leaders in the mission and council about how to help our zones. It was a really good meeting! We learned a lot. We had a lot of talk on correction. Like correcting missionaries so that they can be obedient and receive all the blessings. So I actually had an opportunity this week to try out my new correction skills. So I was talking to the English sisters cause they forgot to ask permission to leave their area from the district leader. So I was like "make sure you guys do that next time." and then later I was talking to Hermana Hayes and she was like, "you know you did the correction in Spanish right?" and I had no idea... and the sisters don't know any Spanish. Rip. I guess I still have some work left.
But MLC was good! In Zone conference next week they switched up how it will go. Usually the leaders have a 2 hour break out session, and the mission presidency and the assistants do the rest. But this time it is flipped. So the leaders have a total of 5 hours, while the mission presidency has like an hour. So that'll be fun to plan for.
We found some cool people this week though! We started teaching Anabel, Kristina's niece and she is super excited! She was reading to us the restoration pamphlet cause she wanted to know all the answers! She loves going to church! She is so fun!! and we are going to start teaching Deanna and Diego's older brother Giovany. So lots of good stuff!
Rodolfo and Angelica also came back from Mexico!! We saw them yesterday for the first time in almost 3 weeks. It was so fun to see them. I love them so much :) but they got both Hermana Hayes and I a bracelet from Guadalajara and it was so sweet :) I love them so much. I say that every time, but it's true. they are the absolute best!
But it was a good week! This week especially I have been able to step back and see God's hand in my life. He is in the little details. The things that seem insignificant, he is watching. I know he loves me, and I know he loves you :) Thanks for all the support and love! I love and miss you! Have a great week!!
