Hey Mom!!
Well this was a CRAZY week!! Nothing was normal about it, but it was still good!!
Monday night I left for Gridley to hang out with Hermana Feveryear!! That was so much fun! It was good to be back in Gridley and see how much it has changed! It was also fun to see some of those people that I used to work with. But most of all, it was fun to spend the day with Hermana Feveryear!! I was just so happy! We talked a ton, and didn't sleep a lot, but it worked out! I was glad I could spend one last day with her before she left...
But I was back in Chico on Wednesday, and then left for Colusa all Thursday! That was also fun! I got to be with Hermana Petonio, and it was a great time! Again, fun to hang out with my Hermanas!! But Colusa is a cute little town! It's super small though. They don't even have a McDonald's. But we did some good work there and met some good people. It was fun to be with Hermana Petonio!!
But I must say, it was nice to be back home. Fun to go and visit, but I love Chico. It's my place. I really don't want to leave it. But that's a later problem!
The rest of the week was also good though! We had a St. Patty's day party on Thursday with the willows ward. That was fun! It's basically just a ward of old people, but they all love us much! Like everyone was coming up to talk with us. It was cute. They also asked me to fiddle there, so I did. That was fun to do! And sister Sutherland, the cutest lady every, got her, Hermana Carter and I matching St Patrick's day scarfs. It was the cutest thing! She is the cutest!
The other exciting thing that happened, was we got Deanna on date!! She is a cute little 9 year old and she has been going to church for a while and loving it! So we are excited to help her work towards that baptismal date! We work with a lot of kids, but Christ always tells us to become as children, so I think it is pretty fitting!! But that was probably the highlight of the week!
It has been fun here! It's really feeling like spring! The birds are chirping, the sun shines bright, it's not raining anymore, and it was about 65-70 almost all week!! I am loving it!! So to celebrate, we are gonna go on a hike today!!
