Week 11Chico/Orland CA

Hey Mom!!

Well, again I am sorry, but it has been not the most exciting of weeks... It was actually kinda a rough week to be honest. EVERYONE cancelled on us... that was rough... and then no one wanted to show up to church.... literally, none of the Spanish members or people we were teaching showed up as well... So that was kind of rough. But still, we were able to see some awesome miracles!

First was that we had zone conference this week! It was fun to see my other missionary friends. I honestly didn't think I would get to know so many people and have so many friends! So that was really fun! Also, because I am a sister training leader, me and the zone leaders got to give a 2 hour like training session. I was super nervous for it, but it turned out really good! Everyone participated and the spirit was strong!

The overall feeling I got from the conference though was love. Love for my companion, love for the other missionaries in the zone, love for the people I am teaching, and love for the scriptures!! And as this love grows, my love for the work grows!!

I have definitely seen that throughout this week. Like I said, it was kinda a rough week. But as I went out and still talked to people and tried my best, I was able to feel better and happy about what I was doing. It has increased my testimony of missionary work. I know that as I do what I am supposed to do, and I do what I was called to do, I WILL find joy and be happy!!

We also found some pretty cool people this week! It's cool to see that God has placed people in our path who are looking for the gospel, and we are so open to receiving us! That also increases my testimony of missionary work and all the power it has!!

But yeah, that was the week! I am loving what I am doing! It's a great life, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else right now!!

One other cool story. So we were out just talking to people, so we knocked on this one door and the people were so welcoming and let us right in! And then, THEY HAD 12 OF THE CUTEST HUSKY PUPPIES I HAVE SEEN!!! We got to hold them and oh my gosh they were adorable!! Probably one of the highlights.

This next week is transfers though, and there is a high probability that I will be leaving Chico... but I guess we won't jump to anything yet.

Have a great week!! Miss you tons!
