Hey mom!!
So for skyping... we are still working that out, but we're thinking around 1 my time? So like 4 your time? Would that work? I can confirm with you next week, cause Christmas eve is pday still. But I'm excited to talk to you all!! Hopefully we can get a computer, cause I don't want to do it on this phone...
My mission conference is this Friday. We also have a ton of service lines up with that! Did you get the mission Christmas card? Are you gonna send me a Christmas card?
Also, could you have Arielle play her Christmas song she made and send it to me?
I am sending a package. Everything is wrapped, so when you get it you can open it. It should get there Thursday.
Also, I hit 6 months this past week... it's weird to think this time next year I'll be home... but still I have a lot of work left and lots of time to do stuff :)
This week was a busy week! The big thing this week is that Hermana Rich and Hermana Wiser are living us! So We're back to 4 Hermanas in a house! And the other two sisters that live next to us, it's just a straight up party! I makes it hard to stay focused all the time, but we're doing it! The other two hermanas have been helping us find more people, so we have a lot to do! But it's been a good week!
A big push we have been making this week was helping people come to church and realize the importance it has in our lives. And it was cool, cause as we made this a focus, it helped people to come to church! We had 3 new people come to church! It was super exciting! It's fun to see people make changes in their lives for this gospel!
Something else that happened on Sunday that was interesting was I played the piano for sacrament meeting. Like, in front of the entire congregation. It actually went pretty well. I played along while they all sang, and I played both hands! And turns out that I am singing next week in church. And I am playing my violin in a Christmas devotional on Friday. So basically I have never been more musical in my life... So don't expect anything from me when I get back.
Down in the Willows ward, we have been working a lot with the members. It has been fun to get to know them! We got invited to a lunch with some of the members there, so we ate with a bunch of 60 year olds. It was a great time! I love old people! Also, this one sister, Sister Carmon, makes THE BEST toffee EVER!!! But willows is doing good! We also had our Christmas party on Friday! That was a good time to meet with the members and get to know them fast! It was a good time!
But it has been a week full of miracles! And there is still plenty of work left to be done! Honestly, it's so much work, and i don't think we will have time for all we have... Honestly I don't know if I have ever felt overwhelmed like this, but it's all for a good reason! The hermanas help! I love them all! And Hermana Carter and I are homies! We have a great time. I'm pretty sure we spend more time laughing and teaching than anything else! It's awesome!!
But it's been a good week!! I can't believe Christmas is so soon!! We continue to share the light the world video, and this week is light your family! So look for ways to give service to your family and show them you love them :)
